Catering and Food

Food is incredibly important to everyone at King’s High and is a particular strength of our school. Led by our award-winning Head Chef, Christophe Charpentier, and Front of House and Hospitality Manager, Kate Mousakitis, our Catering Team delivers the highest quality meals each day to our community. Our menus reflect our commitment to sustainability, prioritising fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
Our student Food Council meets regularly with Christophe and his team to help shape menus and developments. Students are actively involved in maintaining the vegetable and herb garden, producing honey, and caring for our chickens and beehives, giving them a hands-on understanding of food and sustainability.
The quality of our food and our vision for King’s High has been recognised nationally, including being named finalists in the Independent School of the Year Healthy Eating Award. Our approach is simple: great-tasting food prepared on site, served sustainably, and delivered with care and a smile by our dedicated Catering Team.
