Funding Futures Through Difficult Times
Sometimes, an unexpected change in circumstances can turn a family’s world upside down. In challenging times, parents want nothing more than to shield their children from disruption – but financial strain can make this incredibly difficult.
Last autumn, we launched the Hardship Fund. Open to any King's High School family, the Fund can offer some support in times of unexpected financial difficulties for curricular essentials such as educational trips, sports equipment or items of uniform. Every application is considered on a case-by-case basis. The fund stands alongside bursaries which are our mechanism for means-tested fee remission.

Every child deserves a stable education, whether they are months away from completing GCSEs or A-Levels, or just finding their first friends in Year 7. With your help, we can provide this for more families across our King’s High network. Families who are facing an unexpected job loss, who have reduced income due to illness or who just need some time to rejuggle finances and have nowhere else to turn.
