New Campus with new Shared Sixth Form Centre Opens September 2019
Best of Both Worlds
For the first time in the long history of the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation, Project One Campus sees the move of King’s High School to the Myton Road Campus, joining Warwick Preparatory School and Warwick School on one spacious, green campus.
The project commenced in 2017 and will be fully completed by 2020 and will see the creation of new school buildings that have been sympathetically designed within an enhanced pedestrian-friendly campus, linked green spaces and courtyards, and new play areas for our youngest pupils.
Brand New State-of-the-Art Facilities
The King’s High educational buildings will provide a stunning new home for our girls. As well as the main school building, the new school will also include a Sports and Technology ‘wrap-around’ built onto the existing Bridge Sports Centre.
A purpose-built, high-tech Music School for Warwick Prep and King’s High, will include practice rooms and performance spaces. Sports facilities on the campus will be further enhanced by a new 3G pitch and an additional suite of five netball and six tennis courts.
Shared Sixth Form Centre
The new Sixth Form Centre, shared with Warwick School, has been designed to help our pupils make the most of their Sixth Form years, and support their transition to life beyond school.
The ground floor, a large social space, will include a café and self-service kitchen as well as offices for the Heads of Sixth Form. The Careers Hub, interview rooms and group study spaces will be found on the first floor. There will be private study spaces on the top floor, along with an outside terrace – the perfect place to take a break between studies.
