Emma-Jane - Head Girl
The thing that’s so special about King’s is that it is forever moving forward. With great respect for its past – King’s is forever innovating in new ways to make our school experience the very best it can be. With new classes and clubs on the timetable each year, numerous guest professional speakers in all fields coming to inspire, and support from staff and peers to ensure we can get the very most out of our very fortunate education.
As much as it is often said, truly the support network at King’s is unbelievable in every avenue of study or ambitions outside the classroom; they will help you achieve what you want to. For me that has been support from the sports department as a netball player and by my teachers - who not only give you all the help you require and ask for but most importantly, push you and encourage you to your fullest potential.
King’s could seem like a daunting place from outside but it could not be further from this. Despite being a community of reasonable size, I feel like I spend every day in an endlessly friendly environment where I can study and enjoy myself with my friends, peers and teachers – feeling supported and included in the community.
After I leave King’s I’m hoping to go on to university and study product design engineering. After graduating from university I hope to explore all avenues of design engineering – hopefully the transport sector, medical design and many others.
