Former BBC Correspondent Bridget Kendall wraps up this term’s ‘Encounters’ series
We are delighted that Bridget Kendall will close this term’s series of Encounters talks for our Foundation pupils. The first female Master of Peterhouse College, Cambridge, Bridget was the BBC’s Moscow, Washington, and Diplomatic correspondent. She speaks fluent Russian, and interviewed Vladimir Putin live at the Kremlin.
Part of our Inspire programme, Encounters is open to all Foundation pupils. Talks usually take place at 4.15pm on Friday afternoons at the Science Lecture Theatre at Warwick School. This term we have enjoyed fascinating talks from a variety of speakers - politicians, journalists, civil servants, and business leaders - including Matt Western MP, Shadow Minister for Education, and Sir Stephen Lovegrove, the UK’s National Security Advisor.
