Young Enterprise company will represent region at West Midlands Finals
Our Young Enterprise teams are using their entrepreneurial skills to make Sustainability sell
We are very proud of our Young Enterprise companies, Green Collar, and Orbis. Comprising Sixth Form students from King’s High and Warwick School, both teams have had considerable success in the national Young Enterprise competition. After winning the Coventry and Warwickshire heat, together with awards for Marketing and Sustainability, Green Collar Company will represent the region at the West Midlands Finals. Orbis have won awards for Technology and Innovation, and were runners up for Financial Management.
Green Collar Company have done a roaring trade with their beautiful greetings cards, which contain seeds, so they can be planted after use to produce flowers. Orbis Company are contributing to reducing landfill by making rings from recycled aluminium cans, and turning recycled skateboard bearings into fashionable chrome steel rings. They are selling their recycled jewellery through their Orbis Jewellery Instagram page, @orbis_jewellery_ye and TikTok page, @orbis_jewellery. You can also find their products on the Young Enterprise marketplace website, with their recycled can resin rings here: and skateboard bearing rings here:
