King's Spanish Students Cook up a Storm

Señora Montiel and Mrs Esteban arranged for some of our Lower Sixth students studying Spanish to cook a delicious range of tapas to celebrate the first month of their A Level course. The menu included:

  • Tortilla española
  • Champiñones al ajillo 
  • Gambas al ajillo
  • Sanfaina - a speciality from Cataluña
  • Pimientos asados
  • Ensaladilla rusa
  • Queso manchego 
  • Aceitunas con anchoas 

Later on in the year, they will be studying Hispanic gastronomy, and we're sure that this taster inspires them to have a veritable tapas feast in their own homes!
