King’s High Pupils Perform in Foundation Symphony Orchestra Winter Concert

Last week, our pupils performed in the Foundation Symphony Orchestra Winter Concert in Warwick Hall.

Our hugely talented pupils were part of the Foundation’s flagship ensemble – the Foundation Symphony Orchestra (FSO) - of around 75 in total.

Some of the most talented music pupils from our school, Warwick School and The Kingsley School performed a variety of music, including 'The Imperial March' by John Williams, Camille Saint Saens' 'Danse Macabre' and Tchaikovsky's 'The Nutcracker Suite', in what was a mightily impressive showcase of Foundation pupils’ musical talent.

As part of Warwick Schools Foundation’s ongoing partnership with Orchestra of the Swan, our pupils will also have the chance to play side-by-side with a professional orchestra at the next Swan Concert on 8 February, ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’. The soloist for the concert is the undeniably talented Jeneba Kanneh-Mason - Keyboard Category Finalist in BBC Young Musician 2018, winner of the Murs du Son Prize at the Lagny-Sur-Marne International Piano Competition in France, 2014, and The Nottingham Young Musician 2013 - making this an opportunity of the highest value.

Tickets are on sale now via the Bridge House Theatre website:
