King's High Named Finalist in Education Choices Awards 2026

We are delighted to announce that King's High School has been named a finalist in the Education Choices Awards 2026 in the Developing School Partnerships category.
At King's High, partnership is a defining expression of our mission as a community of changemakers committed to service, inclusion and social responsibility. We are proud that our approach to partnership is deeply embedded, strategically ambitious and genuinely cross-sector, creating meaningful opportunities and positive outcomes for young people across our community.
This year, our partnership work reached a significant milestone with the launch of our new Multi-Academy Trust in September 2025. The first partnership of its kind in the region, the Trust brings together King's High, two local primary schools and Evergreen School for children with SEND and PMLD. Developed over three years of consultation and collaboration, it formalises long-standing relationships and provides a sustainable platform for educational transformation and shared excellence.
The Trust is already being recognised as a pioneering model of purposeful partnership between the independent and state sectors, helping to drive innovation, inclusion and opportunity for all.
The Education Choices Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the education sector, and competition this year was exceptionally strong. We are therefore particularly proud to have been shortlisted and recognised for the impact of our partnership work. Winners will be announced on Friday 12 June.
