Thank you to our Class of 2020

Charlotte Murphy, Head of Sixth Form, says: ‘We had originally planned to have a special graduation and speech day event for our Upper Sixth leavers in September, as we were unable to hold this at the end of the Summer Term. Unfortunately,  we were still not in a position to invite parents onto site nor have more than thirty people together and socially distanced at one time. Following a conversation with the Head Girl team, we decided to invite girls into school at staggered times, to have tea and cake, watch the graduation slides and collect their graduation certificates and prizes.

‘We were so sad they did not have that full experience they so richly deserved and we staff were also so disappointed not to have the opportunity to celebrate all they have achieved over their time at King’s. I am just so proud of them all, and how amazingly they have coped this year.’

So here is to our Class of 2020! We will miss you, but thank you, and all the very best from all of us at King's:
